EAS-2 Labeler
Overview
A convolute label is glued to a spiral-wound tube of approx. one meter in length with the labeling machine; the labeled tube is then cut to the finished length of the can body.
For machine type EAS-2, glue application is carried out on the label using a drum.

Design and Function
Machine for the precise labeling and distribution of prefabricated cylindrical raw tubes made of paper for the manufacturing of composite cans.
- raw tubes are fed from a single knife cutter to the EAS-2 via conveyor, hopper and elevator
- extremely rigid four-station indexing turret with precision mandrels
Label feeding and gluing
- feeding of labels in sheet form
- machine is equipped with two label stacking tables, one of which can be used for refilling
- thus a very fast stacking of labels is possible (short production interrupt times)
- circumferential speed of the tube can be regulated continuously during labeling
- continuous control of the label during transport from the stack to the labeling (no change in position)
- accurate labeling
- mechanical stripping of the finished tubes from the spindle
- automatic suction device for waste rings (optional)
